Therapeutic Recreation Continuing Education Update
The University of Florida Program Planning for Therapeutic Recreation online course offers 1.5 Continuing Education Credits (15 Contact Hours):
This course is a convenient option for Therapeutic Recreation professionals because you can complete the course at anytime and from anywhere. Online Course Cost $299. Learn the study of planning, implementing and evaluating therapeutic recreation programs. Course topics include philosophy and theories of TR, comprehensive program planning, program evaluation, clinical assessment, activity selection techniques, TR research, TR trends and much more.
Dr. Beland will be your instructor and he has been teaching at the University of Florida for over 28 years. He has presented at numerous state, national and international conferences on recreation and the aged and has received state and federal grants to do his research. His latest research is in the area of bibliotherapy for the aged and pediatrics.
